The Disability Mobility Rights Alliance has been fighting since January of last year, following the tragic incident of a disabled person falling at Oido Station, to demand the establishment of a plan to secure mobility rights for disabled people from the relevant ministries such as the Ministry of Health and Welfare, the Ministry of Construction and Transportation, the Seoul Metropolitan Government, and the Prime Minister's Office, which oversee public transportation and the mobility of disabled people. However, the relevant ministries are shirking responsibility to each other and are only engaging in exhibitionist administration that further isolates disabled people from society, such as free shuttle buses for disabled people.
