Hospital director Ahn Min suffers upon learning his wife has an incurable illness. Nurse Soon Ok, who sympathizes with him, falls deeply in love, but he does not accept her love. Eventually, his wife dies, and Ahn Min only thinks of his deceased wife, ignoring Soon Ok's love. Soon Ok, for the sake of the beloved Ahn Min, leaves the hospital in tears.
