During the Korean War, Lee Hyuk is forcibly conscripted into the volunteer army and becomes a prisoner of war. Transferred to a POW camp, he rallies the anti-communist POWs there and fights against brutal communist prisoners. It was a fight for survival. He ultimately achieves victory and is welcomed back into the embrace of free Korea.
