Oh Se-jeong murders her lover Young-ha when he tries to leave her. Young-ha's brother, Myung-ha, seeking revenge for his brother, kidnaps Se-jeong and forces her to become his wife. Years later, Seong-pyo, a music student, seeks out the Blue House, where the couple Myung-ha lives, after seeing an advertisement for a music tutor. Se-jeong falls in love with Seong-pyo, who resembles the deceased Young-ha. Myung-ha, upon discovering the passionate affair between Se-jeong and Seong-pyo, plans his revenge. However, Seong-pyo is saved with the help of Young-hee, another tutor who is also Myung-ha's mistress. Oh Se-jeong, dreaming of a new life, demands a divorce from Myung-ha. When he refuses, she shoots him dead and frames Seong-pyo for the murder. When the arrested Seong-pyo exercises his right to remain silent and conceals the truth, Se-jeong realizes Seong-pyo's true feelings for her. Seong-pyo is released, and Se-jeong commits suicide.
