Brewery president Kwon Dong-cheol is a businessman who tends to wantonly play with all women. One day, a young woman named Park Mi-ja, whom he meets by chance in his car, and Madam Jang Myung-hwa, who runs a general store and whom he knows through Ryu Kyung-pil, both become prime targets for President Kwon. However, all his attempts to seduce Baek Seol-hee repeatedly fail, and he hires her boyfriend, Han Seung-jo, into his own company. Angered, Kwon visits Madam Park in Samhojang, and while he is continuing another night of debauchery, Kwon's wife, Mrs. Kim, laments her husband's dissolute life and becomes close with the young man Han Seung-jo whom she met at Changgyeongwon. Meanwhile, Kwon also plays with his company's secretary, Miss Shin. However, he rejects Madam Jang's plea to settle a gambling debt. Then, Miss Park reappears, three months pregnant, pleading for a resolution, but he coldly sends her away and fires her for fear of a scandal with his secretary Miss Shin. Miss Shin, Park Mi-ja's classmate, curses the fate of Miss Park, who, like herself, offered her virginity to Kwon and is now awaiting death after an ectopic pregnancy surgery. Driven by rage, Miss Shin visits Kwon and, through all sorts of stratagems, exposes his mask as he attempts to seduce Baek Seol-hee. Kwon's drunken shouts and Miss Shin's desperate struggles momentarily turn the hall into chaos. Miss Park, who did not succumb to any temptation, calmly exits at this moment, and the phantoms of past women cursing him flash one by one through Kwon's mind.
