Overwhelmed by excessive workload and company pressure, Gi-jun travels to his hometown Mujin for a break, on his wife Kyung-hee's recommendation. In Mujin, Gi-jun meets In-sook, a music teacher, and falls in love with her. In-sook also wishes to be Gi-jun's salvation. Upon learning of the relationship between Gi-jun and In-sook, Kyung-hee approaches In-sook to restore their marital relationship. She spares no sincere care to guide In-sook's life from darkness to light. Through Kyung-hee's serious and humane life attitude, In-sook realizes that overcoming her given life is only possible through the restoration of conscience and morality, and decides to leave Gi-jun. Gi-jun also finds self-confirmation in reality, and the marital relationship between Gi-jun and Kyung-hee returns to its normal order.
