Rebellious teenager Junseok and his friends Jeongman and Jongsu assault a school teacher they call a 'kkondae' (a derogatory term for an older, condescending person). Through this incident, Junseok gets to know Chaeok, the teacher's younger sister, and finds himself caught in strange emotions. Love brings about severe emotional conflict, and Junseok tries to control himself, but the environment surrounding him does not permit his change. He knew too much of the ugliness of current society, and school could not be a strong fence for him. The net of sex, drugs, and fleeting pleasure was too dense for him to escape easily. Finally, his friend Jongsu dies in an accident while inhaling butane gas and it explodes. Jeongnam is arrested in a drug-induced hallucination. And Junseok runs through the pouring rain towards Chaeok.
