Three beautiful stories set against the backdrop of Jeju Island. 'Trip' follows college classmates Jun-hyung and Kyung-mi as they travel to Jeju to prepare for a competition; 'Summer Vacation' depicts the journey of 15-year-old Soo-yeon, who goes in search of the mother who left home when she was young; and 'Outing' portrays the escape of Eun-hee, a housewife who leaves her husband and children behind to travel alone. Through these three stories, the film pays a beautiful tribute to the stunning island of Jeju. This is the latest work by director Bae Chang-ho, premiered in January through the 'Meet the Author' series. Episode 1: Their 'Trip'. Jun-hyung and Kyung-mi come to Jeju for a photo project. Between the physical exhaustion and the subtle rivalry over the competition, they bicker constantly. When Jun-hyung announces he is joining the army in September, Kyung-mi pretends not to care, claiming she plans to go to the U.S., but she is deeply troubled. Episode 2: 'Summer Vacation' to find Mom. Soo-yeon lives with her grandmother, a female diver. After searching everywhere, she finds out her mother is in Seogwipo. Soo-yeon goes to see her with high hopes, but her mother does not recognize her. Meanwhile, her grandmother suddenly collapses and is hospitalized. Episode 3: Her own beautiful 'Outing'. Eun-hee, who has lived diligently as a wife and mother, realizes she has never looked after herself and sets off on a solo trip to Jeju. She lists things she wanted to do, rents a car, and while traveling around the island, she happens to meet Kyung-ja. They share stories as housewives and have a wonderful time. However, just as she is undecided about when to return, she receives a text message from her daughter. What will become of her outing?
