Gio is a high school student with no interests or passions. One day, while working part-time at the waste disposal department of Black Corporation, where his only family, his brother Yun-oh, lives, Gio is suddenly struck by lightning and gains lightning power. His brother Yun-oh suddenly dies in a car accident. Discovering that there was a Black Corporation conspiracy behind his brother's death, Gio becomes Bolt Man to avenge his brother and protect the city, fighting against villains.
