Landing is the story of a photographer trying to leave Earth in a future setting. The planet recruits people who delete unnecessary memories due to data overload, and 'I' do not qualify and am eliminated. 'Mona', an Egyptian refugee with whom I used to take photos, moves to another planet, not a virtual one. The story of those who want to leave and those who cannot leave was written while tugging between the reality of 2022 and the virtuality of 2522.
