In 2016, the US military's THAAD system is illegally deployed in Soseong-ri, Seongju. It was a small, peaceful village that even the people of Seongju didn't know the location of. After THAAD was deployed, thousands of police officers set up camp, and US military helicopters flew over the village. The daily lives of Bongjeongdaek Geumyeon, Bongjeong Halbae, Sunbun, Sangdol, Gyeongim, and Gilnam are shattered, and the community is in turmoil. The people of Soseong-ri have had their peace, which existed until yesterday, completely destroyed. All they wish for is to return to their ordinary lives, before THAAD was installed.
