The residents of a slum near Yongsan Station survive by stealing coal piled up in the station yard at night to sell. However, the slum is threatened with disappearance due to station expansion work. Although they initially try to resist, they eventually reflect on their chaotic way of life and decide to leave the place to find a new land to forge their lives.
