Yeonji and Munho embark on their engagement trip. However, on their wedding night, Yeonji, in unavoidable circumstances, gives herself to Dongwoo, Munho's friend. Munho learns of this but suffers because he loves Yeonji. Dongwoo continues to linger around them, and Yeonji wavers between pity and love for Munho, but Munho decides to leave. Munho lives with Sujin, who confesses her love to him, but he cannot forget Yeonji. One day, Munho has a car accident. Yeonji, who keeps vigil by his bedside, realizes that she loves Munho, and they get married. Dongwoo approaches again like a devil's hand, and Yeonji yields to him once more. Finally, Dongwoo demands a large sum of money using Yeonji's past, and Yeonji decides to kill Dongwoo to protect Munho's honor, killing him while Munho watches in hiding.
