A happy life for a family of seven siblings is shattered by a fire. When the father falls ill, the mother begins working as a pianist and semi-classical singer in a salon, while the children help the family by delivering newspapers, selling eggs, tutoring, and doing manual labor. Meanwhile, through the arrangement of a violin teacher they meet by chance, the children get to perform at the salon, which shocks the mother into collapsing. However, this family, united by love, travels across the country holding charity concerts for the mother's recovery.
